Autonomous UxS Drones

Project 25

Overview

The aim of this project is to develop an unmanned aerial drone system designed for autonomous navigation, coordination, and collaboration in dynamic environments. The system is intended to improve drone capabilities, specifically for multi-drone operations where navigation, obstacle detection, and secure communication are critical. The drone system will autonomously navigate, detect, and avoid obstacles in real-time, and communicate securely within a swarm of drones. The primary objective is to create a scalable and reliable platform capable of operating with minimal human intervention while handling complex tasks in environments where real-time decision-making is essential.

Community Benefit

This project offers potential benefits to various sectors through the advancement of autonomous technology. By enhancing the capacity for autonomous operations, this system can support community-level improvements by increasing operational efficiency, safety, and real-time data collection. These advancements can be utilized to optimize resource management, enhance safety protocols, and improve monitoring and assessment capabilities, ultimately contributing to more effective solutions for challenges in complex environments.
